How licensing works

One license per person who runs the desktop app, managed by your own organization.

Licensed per seat
Each seat is one named person in your organization. You choose how many seats your team needs.
Your admins manage access
Exona sets up your organization and its first admin. Your admins then invite colleagues and give them seats.
Works offline between checks
Licensed releases will check their license from time to time and keep working offline until the signed lease expires. Your projects are never locked.

Does the license check send our data anywhere?

No. The license check will exchange license information only, never the content of your datasets.

What happens if we lose the connection?

Licensed releases of Exona will keep working offline until their signed lease expires, and your projects stay on your disk.
