A compute plugin connects the Exona desktop app to the machine that does the computing. Researchers keep the same app and the same steps; the plugin decides where they run.

Start from the SSH compute plugin
The SSH compute plugin is installed from the Plugin Manager inside the app. A custom plugin builds on the same interface and adds what your environment needs, such as support for your job scheduler.
Any Linux server you reach over SSH
The plugin uses your researchers' own OpenSSH configuration and prepares the remote machine for the analysis.
- Works with jump hosts and multi-factor authentication from your OpenSSH configuration
- Sets up the R and Python analysis environment on the remote Linux machine
- Jobs keep running if the connection drops
